Abstract

An experiment was conducted on Utisol bekenu Series soil typic paleudult to determine the effects of liming on soil chemical properties. Six rates of liming using Domomitic Limestone were tested viz. 0 0.5 1 2.0 3.0 and 5.0 kg vine incorporated at 0-15 cm depth. Results showed that liming with respect to time increased soil pH exchangeable Ca and Mg ECEC but decreased exchangeable Al and Al saturation and did not affect exchangeable K.
