Abstract
A study was made to evaluate the suitability of the bark and latex tissues as an alternative to leaf to estimate the nutritional status of modern LTC which included PB 260 and seven RRIM 2000 series clones. The bark and latex tissues were found to be unsuitable for the purpose. It was also found that current rates of manuring were insufficient to satisfy the RRIM 2000 series of their N and K requirement.
