Abstract

Samples of soil and root from several plant species showing sign of nematode attack were collected and processed in the laboratory. The root and soil were processed for confirmation of the field symptoms manifest by the above ground parts of the plant. The aboveground symptoms were grouped and discussed accordingly with the corresponding root symptoms cellular modification or mechanical damage caused by nematode feeding which affect the normal physiological function of the plant.
