Abstract
Sedimentation of previously pristine upstream river from logging activities is an old problem. Nowadays it gets increasingly highlighted especially when water supply sources for rural villages are contiminated. Chemical treatment to control erosion and sendimentation has been available from sometime. This paper briefly review common BMPs to control erosion and sendimentation from logging roads and also polymer products to inform forestry practitioners so that they can be tested to curb a growing and damaging problem.
