Mangkuwagu Forest Reserve in Tongod district and Trus Madi Forest Reserve in Tambunan district. These are lowland mixed dipterocarps and lower montane habitats. Literature reviews were also conducted. A total of 75 species of plants in 15 families were documented during these studies. Families of plants with many representatives of species were from the family of Leguminosae Menispermaceae and Annonaceae followed by Araceae Rubiaceae and Piperaceae. Uses of climbers include medicines poisons especially for fish vegetables and for handicraft. Some of the climbing plants such as rattan were commercially important.
