Abstract

Tocotrienol Tct one of the major components of palm oil derived vitamin E is a potent antioxidant. Oxidative stress and inflammation are emerging pivotal factors in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease CAD. However optimal Tct concentrations leading to reduction in oxidative stress and inflammation remain unclear.
