Abstract
The fact that Bio-diesel is a kind of recycled energy as well as possesses the benefit of environmental protection plus the benefit of carbon dioxide decrement the Bio-diesel is becoming more and more popular nowadays. This research will probe into the differences of the lubricity the performance of the engine and the pollution of exhaust between the Bio-diesel and the traditional diesel oil. Besides we expect to utilize the super diesel oil made by Chinese Petroleum Corporation; R.O.c. which mix with Bl B2 B5 BlO and B20 to undertake the experiment. The final purpose emphasizes on probing into the benefit of macro economic the benefit estimation of pollution decrement and the cost-effective estimation of adopting Bio-diesel to be the test oil. According to the comprehensive estimations as to the benefit of Bio-diesel it possesses lower costs for reducing the greenhouse effect. If we give an impetus to use B2 entirely that will be a great benefit to the environment. The total reduction can separately reach 7200 kg in SOx 23 metric tons in PMlO and 262 400 metric tons in C02eq. In terms of the evaluation if all the diesel vehicles in Taiwan use Bio-diesel BlO the decrement of pollutants is expected as followed per year: 2.83x102 metric tons of THC 1.98x 103 metric tons of CO 4.56x 103 metric tons of NOx and 5.66x103 metric tons of PM. If Bio -diesel B20 is applied the decrement in THC CO NOx and PM are 2.83x102 2.83x103 1.14x103 and 1.16x102 metric tons respectively.
