Abstract

Several Japanese acid citrus have been crossed with ;Lisbon; lemonCitrus limon Burm. f. Lisbon and the fruit characteristics of their Fl progenies are reported. Almost all progenies showed a high juice quality 0f more than 5 acidity with a variable total sugar content. Based on the juice physical fruit qualities scores and rind characters the significant defects in the progenies were related to physical characters such as small size and undesirable rind appearances such as roughness puffines and collarness.
