Abstract

This paper discusses the need to consider the nomads; grazing animals in a one-year grazing period during migration. It describes the methodology used to obtain such information and investigates the feeding systems and implications of these inputs in the lowland and highland ranges in Fars Province collective rangeland in Bakkan and in the south of the Province. This paper also discusses the dependency of the nomads; livestock on the rangeland and cropland and its impact on integration of the components in the nomadic production system.
