Abstract
The potency of kelor leaves Moringa Oleifera Lamk. as feed supplement to high fibre diet for ruminant animals was investigated by using in vitro technique. The ratios of supplementation were 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 and 90 of kelor leaves: rice straw. The results showed that ammonia concentration dry matter digestibility and total gas produced during the fermentation of the substrate increased as the level of supplementation increased. The dry matter digestibility value of kelor leaf itself was 64. The highest bacteria population was on the supplementation level of 70.
