Abstract
Twenty four lactating Holstein cow were used in 2 groups for the evaluation of the effect of enforced metabolizable protein MP. The use of fish meal enforced MP seemed to increase milk yield with significant reduction in milk fat and total solid. However milk protein was not affected but urea content in milk was increased significantly with the use of fish meal. Intakes of dry matter net energy for lactation and metabolizable protein were higher than those estimated by NRC2001 both in the control and in treatment groups.
