Abstract

Genetic variation associated with cytochrome subunits in mitochondrial DNA of Hanwoo steers were analyzed to see their relationship with calf growth. Mt9-Pvu II segment explained difference in calf weight at 9 months of age. No other significant genotype effects were observed.
