Abstract

Antibody against fungicide Carbendazim was obtained after multi-site injection of bovine serum albumin-Carbendazim conjugate. The antibody has binding efficiency for carbendazim when the sample was dissolved in methanol. The sensitivity of binding assay for detecting of carbendazim is in the range is up 1 to 10 pbb. The polyclonal antibody was affinity purified by Protein G-Sepharose column and single peak was obtained when glycine pH 2.7 was applied to the column. Antibody developed has a potential to be used for fungicide bioassay.
