Abstract
The issues of electronic waste are becoming universal problems that need serious attention of the government and general public. The growing quantity of electronic scrap will pose serious health and environmental problems if this waste is not properly handled and managed. The toxic materials in electronic waste can contaminate soils and our water systems. The challenges in managing electronic waste as well as the business opportunities created by it will be presented and discussed.
