Abstract
Twelve chemicals Hl03 urea NH4C03 Calixin Nustar Bayleton CuSO4Dithane M-22 Quinolate QuinolateCuOH2 CuS04 CUOH2 and Perlka 41CaCN2were used to test inhibition of Phellinus noxius mycelial growth survival of P. noxius in infested wood and control of Casuarina equisetifolia brown root disease in the field. All chemicals except for urea CuS04Dithane M-22 and Perlka had more than 90 inhibition of mycelial growth. P. noxius was not recovered from infested wood placed in soil amended with urea or NHC0 while it had more than 90 recovery rates when amended 43 with other chemicals. QuinolateCuOH2 Quinolate CuS04 and urea were significantly effective for disease protection in the field.
