Abstract
Physiological processes in plant such as gas exchange plays an important role in the control of CO2 assimilation transpiration and transport. The details by which oil palms process energy carbon and water has profound effects on the ecosystem productivity and stability. Hence the understanding of oil palm physiology is thus an important part of sustainability science. This paper will emphasize the important aspects of oil palm physiology that relates to sustainability.
