Abstract

It is evidently clear that the Malaysian government is giving strong support and commitment towards science and technology. This has been manifested in several of the country;s plans and policies. The area of clinical trial also has its share of coverage in the same plans and policies. The advancement in medicine through endless and increasing number of researches holds promises of cures and treatment for diseases. In view of the fact that subjects involved in clinical trials are humans researches are being carried out on human themselves. And for that matter there are many ethical and legal concerns to be considered. Malaysia should also be simultaneously alert and pro-active with these aspects of clinical trials.
