Abstract

Biomass production nutrient contents and nutrient uptake of vegetable soyabean were determined by destructive analysis at 3 weeks 5 weeks and at maturity10 weeks. Leaf nutrient contents at maturity were 3.22N 0.48P 1.49K 2.04 Ca and 0.82Mg. Total nutrient uptake at maturity was 142 kg/ha N 29kg/ha P 91 kg/ha K 45kg/ha Ca and 32kg/ha Mg. About 69 N 45 P 53K 24 Ca and 32 Mg were removed in the in the pods with a fresh yield of 8t/ha.
