Abstract

A conjugal t ransfer region of Pseudomonas aeruginosa broad host range plasmid RP1 CbRKmRTCR was cloned into an Escherichia coli vector plasmid RP1 PVS87SuR. Colony hybridization was used to select the cloned derivatives. The orientation of the insert in the chimeric plasmid RP1s was also established using restriction-enzyme analysis
