Abstract

Composted cattle goat sheep and uncomposted chicken manures were applied on Brassica juncea in four rates at two locations sand-tailing and loamy sand for two seasons. Goat sheep and chicken manures gave significantly higher yield than the control. Responses to the rates were significantly linear indicating that better responses to levels above 20 or 40 metric tons/he are possible.
