The services delivered are then analysed in terms of staff-clientele ratios; completeness and relevance of delivery packages and mechanisms established to facilitate delivery. Expenditures on agricultural extension are further analysed and comparisons made with other systems elsewhere. Recommendations are proposed to modify the scope and function of extension services for changes required to improve quality and effectiveness of the transfer of technology.
