Abstract

A survey of bacterial pustule of soybean caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. glycines in all cultivated regions of Thailand was carried out during 1984-1986. This disease was found in every location except at Ban Na Chaleang Wichain Buri district Phetchaboon province. The severity of disease varied from 0.62-2.56 with the highest and lowest observed at Pong Nam Ron district Chantaburi province and Whichain Buri district Phetchaboon province respectively. The distribution of bacterial pustule was 100 percent in all cultivated areas at Whichain Buri district Phetchaboon province where only 25 percent of the disease was noticed
