Abstract
The immunogenicity test is one of the important tests for human pre-pandemic vaccine production. For immunogenicity test the seed vaccine is tested to animals before to clinical tests. In first level the testing is held to rodent. group and be continued to a mammalian who has similar body system as human immune response system. The aim of the research was to know the effect of vaccination using Indonesian strain vaccine of Avian Influenza H5N1 to weight profile. We have vaccinated three animal species in Animal BSL-3 Airlangga University by this seed vaccine. There were mice guinea pig and non human primates Macaca fascicularis. We used three doses pre filtration and two doses post filtration vaccine for mice three doses pre filtration and one dose post filtration vaccine for guinea pig two doses pre filtration and two doses post filtration vaccine for Macaca fascicularis. Twenty days after vaccination the animals were vaccinated by a booster vaccination with the same seed vaccine to get maximum antibody response. The result of this research that by statistical analysis no significant change in body weight of the animals between pre and post vaccination was detected.
