Nik Ismail Azlan A.R., . (2000) Marketing of medicinal plants using landscape architectural design. [Proceedings Paper]
Abstract
Not many people realise the usefulness and curing properties of medicinal plants even though these plants have been used since centuries ago. What is needed is some form of marketing technique combined with landscape architectural design to generate and create awareness on the importance of these medicinal plants to society. The application of market segmentation to provide the product benefit to the consumers is necessary in promoting the medicinal plants to a larger section of the population. This paper highlights the design of theme gardens as one aspect of the marketing concept.
