Abstract
The pharmacognostical study of the leaves of Ardisia elliptica Thunb. Myrsinaceae was carried out to determine their macroscopical and microscopical characteristics loss of moisture on drying ethanol-soluble and water soluble extracts colour tests as well as thin-layer chromatographic identification.
