Abstract

The behaviour of cement-fly ash slurry stabilised silty soil under undrained compression-extension cyclic loading on saturated sample was studied. A low cement and fly ash was added in the form of a slurry. Pore water pressure equilibrium during cyclic loading was ensured and the test results were interpreted in an effective stress space. Two series of triaxial tests 1-way compression and 2-way compression-extension cyclic loading were studied. The behaviour under 2-way cyclic loading was significantly different from that of 1-way loading.
