Abstract
A total of 360 hens and 36 cocks of parent stock were used in the experiment. Three floor material treatments were involved in the experiment 1. concrete floor with rice hull as bedding 2.50 concrete floor with rice hull and 50 galvanized iron net and 3. 100 galvanized iron net. The results showed that egg production per pen of net floor was lowest when compared with the other two treatments p less than 0.05. The conception rate had no significantly difference among three treatments. The eggs produced in net floor treatment had highest incident of non-developmental eggs on day 11. The total hatchability had significantly difference p less than 0.05 among three treatments. The eggs produced in net floor had lowest hatchability. The eggs produced in concrete with bedding floor had highest hatchability. The birds in beeding with net floor treatment had highest mating rate and the birds in net treatment had lowest mating rate. The higher mating time happened between 17:00 to 21:00 the highest period was between 19:00 - 21:00. It was also interesting to notice that hens in the net floor treatment stayed longest time in nest than other treatments.
