Abstract
A novel gas analyzing system using a semiconductor chip sensor designed for human expiration has been used for environmental gas analysis. This system can detect hydrogen methane and carbon monoxide gas within 5 minutes and the sensitivity of this system is 0.1 ppm for each gas. The concentrations of methane and hydrogen gases collected from the cattle barn or composting area and the expiration of cattle were analyzed and reported.
