Abstract

Cyrtostachys renda commonly known as sealing wax palm is a beautiful ornamental palm in the family Palmae and subfamily Arecoideae. Although sealing wax palm has high economical value its low germination percentage and germination period 3-4 month limit its use in landscape planting. An alternative in-vitro embryo culture propagation may be one of the ways to solve this problem.
