Abstract

The chemical components of hexane extractives for Sawara Falsecypress Chamaecyparis pisifera heartwood were analyzed with GC/MS. 16 kinds of compounds were identified according to the computer compounds library data. The major compound in hexane extractives comprised of terpene and naphthalene derivatives. Among 16 kinds of compund the highest content is 1 2 3 4 4a 5 6 8a-octahydro-7 methyl-4-methylene-1-1-methylethyl- 1.alpha 4a.alpha 8a.alpha-naphthalene 22.396. The hexane extractives of Sawara Falsecypress heartwood had a better antifungal effect on Aspergillus niger A. n. Ipex lactenus I.I. and Gloeophyllus trabeum G.T..
