Abstract

The rubberwood-polymer composites were conducted by impregnating the rubberwood with glycidyl methacrylate GMA diallyl phthalate DAP and the combination of GMA and DAP. The catalyst-heat treatment was used for the polymerization process to take place. Rubberwood-poymer composites containing of GMA at higher chemical loading exhibits the better mechanical properties including bending compressive and impact tests than DAP and the combination of GMA-DAP samples.
