Abstract

This paper describes the production of English Cabbage in Cameron Highlands and identifies the factors associated with adoption of sustainable farming practices. Results of analysis show that English cabbage farmers who adopt more sustainable practices do not suffer yield sacrifices. Study results also show that a strategy to help farmers to understand reason for possibly using less agricultural chemicals and inorganic fertilizers is likely to be the single most effective approach in encouraging English cabbage farmers to adopt sustainable practices in Cameron Highlands
