Abstract
The rural press can serve the farmers and families in the villages by providing timely information regarding farming and harvest. It can also assist and encourage the community to grow and achieve its social economic and cultural aspirations. The rural press by providing up-to-date market proces of agricultural products can help the local farmers. At the same time it also can serve as an effective instrument in exposing local corruption and nepotism at the grassroots level.
