Abstract
Discus is any aquarist's pride and desire to keep and propagate. Since breeding aquarium fish especially prized ones is a challenge to many aquarists this article elaborates on breeding Discus. Discus which command high prices in international markets can bring much needed foreign exchange if entrepreneurs take up its culture and export on an intensive scale. Its culture can also provide employment especially in the rural areas
