Abstract
A total of thirty-five species of Xylariaceae representing eight genera have been recorded to date. The park is also the type locality for Camillea selangorensis and C. malaysianensis the only new species of the genus to be described outside the new world. The genus Hypoxylon is well represented and together with the frequent occurences of species Biscogniauxia Camillea and Daldinia eschscholzii corroborates the view that these taxa are associated with dry habitats such as that found at Kuala Selangor Nature Park.
