Abstract

Small mammal trapping at a primary (Krau) and disturbed (Bangi) forest showed higher biomass but fewer species and fewer individuals at the disturbed site. At both sites above-ground trapping revealed a substantial arboral community and in primary forest at Krau ammounted to two-thirds of all captures.
