Abstract
The Temengor Forest Reserve is very rich in fruit tree species. Out of the total 62 species collected 34 species bear edible fruits and most are related to important cultivated crops. Baccaurea velutina was found to have a better fruit quality in terms of size and taste compared to B. polyneura. Seeds from 21 species were germinated and will be planted in the MARDI arboretum. Specimens of all 62 fruits species were collected and deposited at MARDI herbarium.
