Chiu S.B., . and Chee K.H., . Oil palm DxP material in Indonesia - early results of a comparison trial. pp. 607-612. ISSN 0126-575X
Abstract
Differences in performance were detected in a small-scale trial comparing six sources of commercial DxP planting material in Indonesia: variation in early bunch production incidence of dura palms crown disease incidence and frond production. Visual differences in fruit quality were also obeserved. This suggests that to improve profitability oil palm estates and smallholdings should take extra trouble to source for superior planting material.
