Abstract
On-farm research is the final stage in agricultural research process. Its importance is obvious in determining the acceptance of new technologies created at laboratory or research institutions within the farmers vicinity so as to test its viability and acceptance by the farmers. Indirectly research done together with the farmers provide an early indication of adoption of the technology and therefore can be classified as the first stage of technology transfer. The problems commonly encountered with doing research at farm levels can be classified into three categories: physical technical and socio-economy
