Abstract

Five types of insecticides are potentially good in controlling tobacco insects especially the budworm Chloridae assulta. The five insecticides are permethrin cypermethrin sulprofos fenvalerate and deltamethrin. Although the differences in the number of armyworm larva (Spodoptera litura) between the insecticide treatments are not statistically significant these insecticides are still able to control the insect. Other insecticides namely quinalphos fonofos and Bacillus thurigiensis are less effective
