Abstract

Two experiments were conducted to estimate the amount of grain contributed by the second corn-cobs and the effect of their removal on final grain yield. As both experiments indicated that there were no significant contribution from the second corn-cobs and their removal had no effect on final grain yield it was suggested that they should be harvested for consumption as a vegetable
