Abstract

The Extension Services Program was one of the 12 programmes of the Food Technology Division and one of the five programmes involved with technology transfer. The programme formed an important link between the Division which had expertise in the field of food science and technology and food factories that were having technical problems. This paper explained the mode of operation of the programme highlighting that the program was a dynamic one and also carried out in an integrated manner
