Abstract

Protein profiles of the body walls from 3 species of local (Sabah) holothuroid was studied using SDS-Gel polyacrylamide electrophoresis. The result showed the molecular weight of protein varied amongst species; 30 000-62 000 (Holothuria atra) 13 500-155 000 (Holothuria edulis Lesson) and 37 000-148 000 (Holothuria sp). All protein components were in the form of monomers.
