Abstract

The presence of both insect Leptocorisa oratorius (Fabricius) and weed Echinochloa crus-galli (L.) Beauv. in direct-seeded paddy were studied. Initially L. oratorius fed on E. crus-galli and later on padi. The effects of both pests in direct seeding culture were discussed.
