Abstract

Benzylaminopurine (BA) treated Dendrobium plants flower within 10-11 weeks after spraying. It is therefore possible to adjust the spraying time to meet market demand. BA at the rate of 200 ppm is recommended since higher rates could result in the occurrence of deformed flowers. BA spraying has to be followed by more frequent fertilizer applications.
