Abstract

Morphometric data and distribution patterns of the four species of Cyclocheilichthys found in Peninsular Malaysia are presented. Cyclocheilichthys apogon is the most common and widely distributed species followed by C. repasson C. armatus and C. heteronema. Cyclocheilichthys armatus is the most variable morphometrically and its taxonomic status needs further clarification.
