Abstract

Chromolaena odorata is one of the major broad-leaved perennial weed speed species of plantation crops in a warmer regions of the world. The history of attempts to control C. odorata by using a biological agent Pareuchaetes pseudoinsulata is summarised. Information on the biology distribution and success of P. pseudoinsulata are discussed to assess its potential as a biological control agent
