Abstract
Until now the Giant Leaf-Insect Phyllium giganteum was only known from one sex. Only females had been collected from the wild and bred from culture stocks kept mainly in Europe and Peninsular Malaysia. A recently discovered male from the Tapah Hill Perak Peninsular Malaysia is described in this paper along with a further male from Sarawak a new locality for this species. Different colour forms are briefly mentioned
