Abstract

In an insecticidal trial fo r the control o f the leaf-cutting weevil o f mango Deporaus marginatus Pasc. deltam ethrin was the most effective insecticide follow ed by etrimfos acephate and dicrotophos in that order. A persistency study of deltamethrin in the field showed that the insecticide was effective for up to two weeks.
