Abstract

Astudy on the impact of logging on tapir (Tapirus indicus) wild pig (Sus scrofa) barking deer (Muntiacus muntjac)and sambar deer (Cervus unicolor) was carried out in Sungai Lalang Forest Reserve Selangor. The results suggest that there were no major differences in the diversity of large mammal fauna between logged and unlogged. Suggestion on mitigation measures is also discussed.
